You can but the A+ quality telescopes (open and close) in this listing as well as the Closeout options. The closeouts are extremely hard to open and close so I would suggest just leaving them open. These cute raw brass miniature brass telescopes (spyglasses) measure 3" when extended and 1.5" when collapsed. The diameter is approx 5/8" and they are fully functional, although they are tiny so they can not magnify by a lot.
