I’m pretty critical. This shield is a great size at 24” and has a good feel in the hand. The paint job did not survive the shipping process well even though the shield is made with quality materials. For the price this is a great replica for my office.

Real metal and it fit perfectly. Also arrived really fast, so in time for Halloween by a few days. Sword is real too and blunt if you were curious. If buying for yourself , Would recommend black boots and belt sheath for the sword. Also a black long sleeve shirt and pants.

I purchased this Medieval Knight Katernbrust armor from a store called Medievalmart, in 18 gauge. I received it in about a month, despite the 15-20 day claim. However, it arrived before my Renfair, so that's fine. The fit is very good, including the gambeson. The quality is also good.

The shield looks wonderful. From what I have seen, you would need to pay at least twice that price to get this quality of a replica. Now, there are some minor imperfections which really don't detract from the piece if your intention is to use it as a display piece. I definitely feel it's worth every penny. Mine got very small dents in two places, but the paint isn't chipped and you really need to use the light to see it. The paint job also isn't perfectly smooth either, but you have to be close to see it. So, you can find better replicas -- but never at anywhere near that price. In spite of it all, it really looks absurdly good on the wall. I'd recommend it. It is also big enough and well made enough for cosplay, if someone want to risk this amazing find on a costume.
